The story of Spanish brand Footgel began in 1980, when the Rubio Castelló family started developing technical components for footwear.

In 1997, the brand developed and patented a compound called Termocrep-gel® – a gel characterised by a high level of elongation, recovery, cushioning and durability. All of this comes without any loss of performance over time, without toxicity and, above all, with full recyclability.

Since then, Footgel has worked continuously with the Biomechanics Institute of the University of Valencia (Spain) to develop insoles tailored to the many demands of everyday life, whether for sports or for daily use.

Beyond delivering comfort, the ambition is to firmly embed the concept of healthy feet in everyone’s mindset.

Groupe Magellan has always been committed to enabling athletes to reach their full potential; distributing a brand of insoles that reduce physical strain was therefore a natural extension of this mission.
