About us
The story of Groupe Magellan began in 1995 in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, in the Nord-Isère region of France. The company’s core business was originally the manufacturing and distribution of event and promotional textiles across Europe.
Quickly becoming a key player on the French market, Groupe Magellan established itself in the late 1990s as a leader in several product segments: T-shirts, polos and sweatshirts.
Diversification
In the early 2000s, the company began to specialise in sport, building tailored offerings for different disciplines. This led to an expanded textile range with more technical products, both under our own brands and for major international labels.
Building on this experience, Groupe Magellan then moved into a new line of business: distribution.
With a strong reputation in the market, international brands quickly placed their trust in the company.
Passionate about racquet sports, the group has made them part of its DNA. Over the years, we have partnered with prestigious brands such as Prince, adidas (in various categories: Tennis, Padel and, more recently, Pickleball), FootGel, Lõk Padel and Robin Söderling.
Another symbol of our development: our original 4,000 m² site has grown into an estate of more than 30,000 m².
